Baby I has been interested in our food for a while now (you know, watching intently while we eat) and as he nears the 6 month mark I knew he would be ready for spoon feeding soon. This weekend we gave it a try.
Here he is awaiting his food...
as you can see he wasn't a big fan at first...
but soon enough he got the hang of it and even kind of liked it!
Actually, after he stopped pushing everything back out with his tongue, he ate pretty well until he saw his bottle...then he began to cry for that instead! He has eaten quite a few times since then and is becoming pretty good at eating from a spoon. Soon he'll be eating steak, or maybe just pureed fruits and veggies! ;-)
