Garden Goodies

On Sunday, D and I did some 'harvesting' in our garden while L was napping. Here's what we brought in (and there's more out there!!!)...

An entire bucket full of green beans!

Cucumbers, peas and carrots

Here's what has happened to them since we brought them in!

Cucumbers = Refrigerator Pickles
Green Beans = Green Bean Casseroleand peas and carrots = well, L pretty much takes care of those on her own!

Our corn cobs are getting bigger each day and we have more lettuce than we know what to do with!!! Who knew that gardening could be so much fun (besides my dad of course...he loves gardening...maybe I should have taken more of an interest when I was younger)?!?!
