D was out of town for a few days last week, but we weren't alone. My sister and her five kids came for a visit. And we had three days of crazy, happy, silly, funny, loud, heartwarming F-U-N! There were games (Monopoly, Monopoly Jr., Charades and the Farming Game), farming (the 'crops' in our living room have all been harvested!), dress up (Elsa
and Anna!), movies and lots of cousin bonding. And I enjoyed some girl time with my sis. The highlight of the trip (at least in the kids' eyes) was the nature walk we took Monday afternoon. It was in the high 40's and drizzly but we're hardy and determined...
(LJ was in a carrier on me, thus his hanging in mid-air.)
(Sharing fun facts about the Red.)
(A1 spotted this tree that had obviously been gnawed down by a beaver!)
(A4 and his 'beating stick.')
(The youngest of our adventurers didn't last too long.)
(A frog, which we either rescued from the mud or disturbed from his hibernating spot. Yay or Oops!)
Don't you just love it when learning and fun collide?
We do!

This really was fun! The kids were really good sports! I'm surprised you didn't post the picture of me flailing around on that spinny chair. That thing's crazy and it's on the MN side of the Red...shouldn't that deem helmets as necessary? ;) Love you!!
