Five Months

At Five Months LJ continues to eat, nap and sleep about the same way he did in Month Four.  

Firsts this month include:  using the exersaucer, blowing raspberries - hilarious! (he was doing this steady for a couple of days and then stopped.  I have a great video of it but it's too big to upload here, boo.), sitting up (with support, of course, but not much), swinging in a playground swing, sleeping unswaddled at night and rolling from front to back (if you count that one time he did it, once...)!

Also, this month LJ slept away from home for the first time (on two different trips and for a total of 5 nights), met Great Grandma and Great Grandpa J (as well as other extended family), attended his first barrel race and tagged along for various big kid excursions.

LJ is hardly ever without a finger or hand (or two!) in his mouth, especially when he's tired.

I Man loves to play with LJ and he is surprisingly gentle with him.  So sweet!

This was an outtake from a photo shoot the other day, but the way he scrunches up his nose like that when he's really happy?  Adorable!

He may not roll, but LJ loves to sit...

sitting's his favorite.  Or smiling, smiling's his favorite, too.

(because L and I Man studied the Vikings recently and I Man wanted LJ to be a Viking, too!)
